The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $ 172,720.00 t o $ 215,900.00 . The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Director of Prestige Commercial is responsible for driving growth across the current Prestige spirits & sparking portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President Prestige, he/she will be responsible for: a) spearhead PSM mentorship and development, b) deliver sales targets and facilitate gatekeeper relations across a highly targeted number of influential Prestige outlets, c) lead the go-to-market commercial efforts for the Prestige portfolio, d) support Prestige tentpole events in coordination with the HQ experiential events team.

To achieve this, he/she will work in close partnership with a variety of cross functional teams, especially the commercial/sales team. Additionally, the ability to leverage consumer and shopper insights will be an important element. Also, familiarity with digital and ecommerce platforms will be an important element. He/she will demonstrate a general management mindset and will have direct oversight/management of A&P budgets (~$6+MM) and relevant performance metrics

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

- Prestige Team Leadership and Key Account Responsibilities:

  • Oversee managerial efforts of PSM's within their geographical responsibilities.
  • Support and coach regional PSM's providing guidance, mentorship and resources that help team work efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor performance and conduct monthly 1:1's and annual reviews to gauge and elevate employee's level of effort and enthusiasm in their roles.
  • Work with Prestige VP to set FY individual and team goals.
  • Review PSM's T&E expenses, AOP plans and corresponding FY A&P budgets to ensure overall plan of action remains on target throughout the fiscal year.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments ( e.g. channel shopper team to deliver L3F brand-centric theatrics, Prestige COE ensuring alignment on tactics, resources, and approach to winning the L3F, Commercial Finance team to procure and administer team A&P budgets, etc. ) to achieve PRUSA growth ambition.
  • Coordinate efforts with Prestige leadership team to conduct monthly department meetings ensuring team remains on track throughout FY.
  • Maintain commercial leadership responsibilities for specific number of key Prestige high visibility, high value partnerships.
  • Delivering best-in-class sales execution, with aim at achieving Prestige perfect distribution (AVVS in L3F), Net-Net Sales Growth & Distribution targets.
  • Secure FY KPI targets on POD's, Backbar Positions & Menu Placements.
  • Maintain high-level of interaction and collaboration with local field sales teams.
  • Manage day-to-day and monthly performance thru internal Prestige performance dashboard (DSTAR) and KPI trackers in PowerBI Building a strong network.
  • Assist HR department with interviewing potential candidates, making job offers and on-boarding new hires.

  • - Commercial RTM lead:

  • Spearhead overall CSM Prestige Commercial ambition inclusive of the high-visibility, high-value outlet integration.
  • Support PRUSA's CSM commercial go-to-market ambition to achieve bottom-up build goals.
  • Work-with HQ Brand Finance to procure, allocate and administer CSM commercial A&P budgets.
  • Coordinate with national and regional account teams to achieve national distribution ambition incorporating CSM into fall/spring resets.
  • Drive RTM prioritization strategy per channel & Investments.
  • Lead CSM commercial training efforts ensure PRUSA teams have relevant training material in timely manner.
  • Collaborate with CSM HQ Marketing and Channel marketing to ensure L3F commercial AV3 deliverables and received and distributed in timely manner.
  • Work closely with portfolio finance and commercial finance to ensure pricing structures remain within brand standards.
  • Lead all CSM tentpole event integration nationally. Lead eComm digital/D2C/DTC/B2B integration.
  • Interface and collaborate with S&OP & CPO teams to ensure cohesion on monthly forecasting and FY growth ambition.

  • - Prestige Tentpole Events:

  • Facilitate coordination with Experiential Events team to support Prestige tentpole events ( e.g Art Basel, SOBEWFF, etc.).
  • Map 12-month event calendar identifying activation targets and needs (stock, assets, A&P, etc.).
  • Lead event planning 90/60/30-day planning workshops with all key stakeholders ahead of targeted events.
  • Coordinate efforts with brand team to achieve activation KPI's.
  • Lead discussions with portfolio finance team to secure funding required to activate.
  • Execute 360 recaps to inform enhancements of future iterations.

  • - Business Administration:

  • Fiscally responsible for administration of A&P budget to achieve FY NS targets.
  • Coordination of National Acct A&P allocation to be commensurate with performance.
  • Manage T&E responsibly and effectively while remaining within FY target.

  • Job Requirements

    The role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach.

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent); MBA or advanced degree preferable.
  • Experience / Background: 7+ years of business experience, with experience in the luxury space, high-end spirits is a plus. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing iconic brands with some level of complexity. Must have solid experience developing brand strategies grounded in insights and analytics. Must have experience in managing and partnering with a broad set of stakeholders in matrix organization as well as external agency partners. Must have experience managing financials and business performance including budget management. Ideal candidate will have previous experience in e-commerce, innovation, and media.
  • This position may travel up to 40% of the time.
