This full time role is eligible for $725 sign-on bonus and seasonal hires are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus.
Tasting room employees are the public relations ambassadors of the company. As such, tasting room personnel provide a warm welcome to all guests and provide a beyond-expectations experience, allowing guests to sample and purchase wine and merchandise. As a liaison between Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and the public, tasting room employees must demonstrate warmth, a sense of integrity, efficiency, and a growing knowledge about our wines. Successful members of the tasting room team will consistently display a positive, unflappable, can-do attitude at all times while providing excellent and accommodating customer service to each and every guest that visits our winery.

Our Tasting Room Wine Educator job responsibilities include:
- Host wine and tasting experiences, including wine and food pairings, both in the Tasting Room and at remote on property locations.
- Conduct informative tasting experiences including guided tours with the ability to convey knowledge of wine and the wine industry.
- Drive revenue by selling wine, merchandise, tasting, and memberships to guests.
- Provide accurate information about the company/winery, wine club and mailing list to all guests.
Position Requirements:
- At least three years of customer service and/or sales experience
- Previous hospitality and/or wine industry experience preferred
- Outstanding knowledge and interest in wine - Stag's Leap wine knowledge preferred
- WSET Certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, while multi-tasking
- Must be flexible and available to work varied hours/days of the week
- Must be at least 21 years of age
