We are searching high and low for a fantastic On Premise Sales Consultant for our Wine Merchant division. And it might just be you!
Job Duties:
- Call on accounts and cover daily routes by creating an established and efficient routing pattern
- Analyze entire account base by visiting each account and identifying opportunities
- Manage customer account receivables by timely processing of credits and returns and communicating with accounts on aged receivables
- Service accounts by delivering products to customers in extenuating circumstances, handling customer issues and complaints and referring to these issues, as appropriate to management
- Attain standards of performance goals by achieving the distribution, volume and activity goals as set by management
- Territory will comprise of on premise (Bars, restaurants, event centers etc) accounts.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Appreciation for and working knowledge of real wine and hand-crafted spirits
- Passion for selling; highly driven professional, motivated and enthusiastic
- Ultimate focus on our customers and our business
- Communication skills need to be articulate, clear and concise
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs sometimes repeatedly
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS college degree or related industry experience
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Sales in the retail wine & spirits industry and experience with the chef driven community is desired, but not required
