A Seasonal VIP Concierge role in Walla Walla, WA is available at Northstar Winery. This position will be a leader in superior customer service for guests, trade guests, club members, and visitors. The VIP Concierge will support administrative and operational functions for all Eastern Washington Direct to Consumer (DTC) brands. This role will also assist with sales organization trade activities at Canoe Ridge Vineyards, Spring Valley Vineyard and Columbia Crest Winery.

This is a full-time, seasonal role. Seasonal roles are typically May - October, or as seasonal business needs require. This role requires availability on evenings and weekends.

VIP Concierge job responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the point of contact for the Guest Services team for Canoe Ridge.
  • Support VIP Operations for Canoe Ridge, including reviewing, planning and approving all trade requests.
  • Collaborate with Guest Services Managers and team members to always maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Stay well-informed on daily happenings related to Guest Services and communicate with the team as needed.
  • Partner with Guest Services Manager to execute plans for supporting Eastern Washington Direct to Consumer (DTC) sales and marketing efforts, including personal client sales calling when directed.
  • Collaborate with winemaking and Direct to Consumer (DTC) teams with planning and executing trade events in Eastern Washington.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling, purchasing orders and sample management for wine and non-wine, receiving both wine and non-wine orders, managing one card account, and conducting monthly/quarterly wine and non-wine inventories.
  • Maintain Reserve reservations system for appointments, events, and other scheduled activities.
  • Support Direct to Consumer (DTC) operations at Northstar Winery, Spring Valley Vineyard, Canoe Ridge Vineyard, and Columbia Crest Winery.
  • Conduct winery and production tours, press or media appointments, top tier VIP appointments, business meetings, and dinners.
  • Trade guest experiences, tasting bar as needed for major events and functions.

Physical requirements:
  • Able to stand, walk for extended periods of time.
  • Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Position requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Must obtain Class 12 Liquor Permit and Benton County Food Handler's Permit.
  • Five (5) years' experience Guest Services and hospitality, including experience of most administrative functions within the department.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of five or more.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Knowledge of operating a POS system in a retail-setting strongly preferred.

      Your Compensation:

      $ 23.50 - $30.54 per hour based upon relevant experience
