Job Description:
The most ideal candidate will have experience managing, developing and motivating a team, implementing sales plans, brand management, developing and maintaining key account relationships as well as performing various administrative duties. Previous experience in beer or beverage distribution sales is highly preferred for the position.\n\nSpecific Duties:\n• Direct, supervise, train, evaluate and develop representatives within division.\n• Educate staff to build/improve product knowledge.\n• Oversee the development of sales plans, quotas, supplier and profit goals and methods to achieve those goals.\n• Monitor the market to ensure brand standards are being executed.\n• Maintain an active role in building key account business relationships and new account openings.\n• Consistently survey market conditions to create and/or improve business.\n• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with problem accounts.\n• Abide by Company and legal policies governing the industry.\n• Overall responsibility for division sales reporting and master route scheduling.\n\nPosition Requirements:\n• Sales Management with experience motivating a sales team\n• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)\n• Previous effective Brand Management \n• Beer distribution experience preferred, but not required\n• Excellent verbal and written communication skills \n• Technology experience using MS Office package and mobile devices\n• Ability to travel throughout the state of Minnesota with occasional overnight travel
