A Facilities Maintenance Lead job in Paterson, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). The purpose of this position is to oversee the facilities maintenance team, and the facilities equipment, schedule mechanics as needed throughout the week, follow up on preventive maintenance (PM) completion and scheduling PM down time. This role will have the authority to make recommendations on processes and procedures, as well as train other members of the maintenance staff, and maintaining/operating equipment.

Facilities Maintenance Lead job responsibilities include:
  • Lead team and handoff meetings
  • Attend daily 10:00am meetings
  • Adhere to all safe bottling procedures
  • Communicate with bottling manager and direct supervisor
  • Monitor performance and document and communicate performance successes and deficiencies for appropriate follow up actions.
  • Schedule maintenance team responsible for bottling
  • Assist planner with tracking teams performance
  • Assist supervisor in training new employees
  • Assist in planning team development and training
  • Review repair parts list for annual PMs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five years of bottling line maintenance experience.
  • Computer literacy encompassing MS Office, Excel, 7i, Rockwell Automation, ADC system.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to carry multiple assignments through to completion.
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with others.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work extended hours, weekends and shift work as necessary
  • Able to lift and pull up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Your Compensation:

$32.81 - $42.65/hr. based upon relevant experience.
