Overview

The Senior Director Trade Development, Education & eCommerce would be responsible for managing all National Supplier programs, SG Proof- eCommerce and brand education.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain constant communication modes between Division field sales team and supplier marketing/sales planning teams
  • Implement and drive company-wide sales strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Plan, execute and evaluate sales, promotion, and marketing programs
  • Lead and direct the Supplier Planning Initiatives, including supplier meetings, programming communication, and business review/planning meeting with SGWS leadership
  • Input, monitor and recap supplier programs on the SGWS National Corporate Calendar
  • Direct the design, planning, and implementation of new and existing marketing initiatives that align with supplier goals
  • Monitor purchasing, supplier shipment, and local delivery of assigned-supplier portfolios for incentive planning and inventory
  • Assist Commercial Finance team in the management of funds and banks as related to National Incentive Programs
  • Utilize various available analytic tools to identify local market intelligence and opportunities - consumer shifts/trends, channel dynamics, key account (NAOP/ chains) dynamics, etc.


Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure all business intelligence program tracking is accurate, timely and aligns with regional and individual state reporting
  • Develop and enhance relationships with the trade through participation in food/wine/industry related events
  • Coach, direct, and counsel team on overall performance; define expectations and monitor progress
  • Manage the planning, design, and implementation of all Proof Commerce Digital Marketing initiatives including annual budget, tactical digital program calendars and growth focused digital marketing strategies
  • Lead Digital Marketing program communications, supplier meetings and business review/planning meetings with leadership
  • Measure and evaluate ROI, sales and promotion effectiveness of all Digital Marketing initiatives for Proof Commerce
  • Identify new digital marketing opportunities through consumer trends, customer segmentation, purchasing analysis, "pairs with" strategies, etc.
  • Work with the Corporate B2C Team to drive incremental supplier brand value through new sales channels
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven years of relevant experience
  • Previous beverage supplier programming and price structure experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities on tight deadlines with high quality results.
  • Budgetary and fiscal oversight/management experience.
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
  • Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levels of management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applications software

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
