Job Overview:
The National Brand Ambassador will serve as the face of The Botanist Islay Dry Gin brand in the U.S., leading brand-building activations, championing trade advocacy, and supporting the commercial goals of brand teams, the on-premises division, distributor partners, and local sales teams. This role focuses on growing brand awareness, engaging consumers & trade, accelerating sales velocity, expanding distribution, and advancing trade education initiatives. ***The salary range for this role based in New York is $100,000- $107,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to, relevant experience, business sector, and geographic location.***

Job Responsibilities:

Inspire: Serve as the face of The Botanist for both consumers and trade in the U.S., growing brand awareness and cultivating brand love. Communicate brand messages to consumers and trade in a compelling, energizing manner.Build and engage a consumer and trade audience at scale for The Botanist National BA on social media.Assist in growing the brand’s presence in PR and social including:Develop social content to be leveraged on National BA and brand handles in partnership with the brand team and in adherence with brand guidelines.Partner with the brand team to provide quotes for press interviews as needed.Assist with drink styling for brand events and content.

Educate:
Act as the category and brand expert. Develop and deliver brand education presentations that captivate audiences. Create impactful on- and off-premises brand training materials that can be easily adapted for different team members and audiences. Develop innovative tools and frameworks to educate on the liquid distillery and brand programs. Assist the brand team in building out drink strategy; work in partnership with the team to develop new cocktail recipes.
 
Engage and Influence:
Create and maintain relationships with key market stakeholders, local trade community, distributor partners, influencers, and local partners; establish a network of key trade partners and brand advocates.Collaborate with local teams and distributor partners on in-market account planning, activation planning, and KPI delivery to align efforts and maximize market impact.Cultivate and maintain key strategic partnerships within target accounts that align with The Botanist's brand values and resonate with local markets.Bring brand events to life in key markets:o Host events for strategic brand partnerships, participating as a host and face of the brand.o  Execute key retailer events.o  Recruit consumers and trade for events.Engage with Craft Luxury and Field Marketing roles inside RC.Engage with bartender advocacy education programs within RC.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree2-5+ years as a Brand Ambassador with national reach or relevant experience
Experience in on-premise segment
Public Speaking and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to grow a social audience
Proven track record of leveraging social media platforms to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must obtain solicitor’s permit (where required by law)
Must be 21 years of age or older
Excellent English written and verbal communication
Experience within retail and/or 3-Tier distribution environment in the US Media trained is ideal
