Overview
Coordinate receiving schedule daily with outside vendors, purchasing dept., and receiving dept. Verify that drivers have liquor permits. Communicate truck arrival information with the union staff and receiving supervisor. Inform drivers of new safety procedures when logging in their seals while being unloaded on receiving dock. Respond to emails from outside vendors requesting delivery dates and times. Build receiving schedule for coming days/weeks. Respond to queries from Purchasing department regarding loads. Assign receiving clerks what purchase orders to check in.

Reponsibilities
- Direct all traffic on receiving doors. Assigning doors to outside truckers. Collect seals from trucker and assign paperwork to the dock clerks.
- Schedule inbound appointments via e-mail with outside suppliers, brokers, purchasing dept. and dispatchers.
- Multi tasking phone calls, communicating with Purchasing department on purchasing order discrepancies.
- Order warehouse supplies via outside vendor and dividing up orders.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 2 yrs. experience in a warehouse/office environment.
- Warehouse Management System experience is a plus.
- Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good math and typing skills.
- Pleasant speaking skills and good email etiquette.
- Multi-Task ability.
- Capable of working under pressure.
