M.S. Walker, fine wine and spirts distributor based in Norwood, MA, is looking to add an HVAC and Facilities Technician to our growing Facilities and Maintenance team. An HVAC & Facilities Technician is responsible for safely trouble shooting, maintaining, and operating, M.S. Walker's HVAC and facility support systems. This position will be based out of our Norwood, MA facility, but travel to our Hyde Park, MA and Warren, RI facilities will be required as needed. The typical hours will be Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with the ability to work overtime based on business needs. If you hold a MA Refrigeration Technician license and have 3-5 years of industrial HVAC experience, this may be the job for you!

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot MS Walkers HVAC and facility support systems including but not limited to RTU's, MAU's ERU's Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, VAV's, Water Heaters, Boilers, and building management systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment controls, VFD's, actuators exc.
- Willingness and ability to learn new areas of maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Perform scheduled PM and filter changes on facility support equipment.
- Perform repairs to industrial automation equipment including but not limited to, machinery, conveyors, and other industrial manufacturing equipment if needed.
- Construct or install additions and upgrades to the facility including but not limited to cabinets, tables, shelves, office furniture and other equipment.
- Perform facility repairs such as painting, drywall repair and other light facility repairs as needed.
- Follow SOP's, equipment troubleshooting guides, and GMP's.
- Perform daily/monthly safety checks.
- Utilize Navitas and Johnson Controls building management systems.
- Utilize maintenance management software applications to track and close out PM's and work orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- Must have MA Refrigeration Technician License with appropriate/required tonnage.
- Ability to purchase refrigeration, HVAC parts, and equipment under HVAC license as needed.
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC and Facility support systems.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications as needed.
- Proficient Knowledge of BMS systems.
- 3-5 years' experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining, industrial HVAC and facility support systems.
- Valid MA driver's license.
- Ability to travel to all MS walker locations as needed to maintain facility support systems.
- Ability to become forklift certified.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills on all facility support systems.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work on call rotations, rotating shifts, weekends, or OT based on business needs.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proper use of PPE.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
- Work outside or inside.
- Frequently climb stairs and occasionally work on platforms greater than 40 feet
- Work on catwalks or roof tops.
- Lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time up to 10 hours.
- Work in hot or cold environments.
- Work in inclement weather when required.
