What we are looking for: M.S. Walker is seeking an experienced and highly organized Print Production Coordinator to oversee our in-house printing and production operations within the marketing department of a leading wine and spirits distributor. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of print production - from scheduling and workflow management to quality control and equipment maintenance-ensuring timely, cost-effective, and brand-accurate output to support our sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives.

This position is on-site Monday-Friday at our headquarters in Norwood, MA.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the in-house print shop, including scheduling, prioritizing, and tracking jobs to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a streamlined workflow for digital and large-format print projects, including signage, point-of-sale (POS) materials, labels, and in-house promotional collateral.
  • Work closely with graphic design team to ensure all printed materials meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and color accuracy requirements.
  • Prepare and adjust working files as needed.
  • Assist sales representatives and portfolio managers with delivery and receipt of finished printed materials for Regional Distribution and National Brands.
  • Package and prepare finished products for shipping or pickup.
  • Conduct proof checks and coordinate preventive maintenance repairs to avoid printing errors or delays.
  • Operate and maintain printers, large-format printers, cutters, laminators, and related finishing equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration with vendors.
  • Manage inventory of paper, substrates, inks, and finishing supplies, placing orders to maintain stock levels.
  • Coordinate with external vendors when outsourcing specialty print jobs, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  • Implement best practices to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain cost control.
  • Monitor and report on production costs, ensuring alignment with department budgets.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Who you are: The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities in order to be successful in this role:
  • 3+ years of experience in print production, preferably in a marketing, retail, or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and large-format printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and print management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with wine & spirits industry branding and compliance requirements a plus.
