The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $107,360.00 to $134,200.00 . The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Position Summary
Reporting to The Head of Content Strategy & Activation, the Creative Services Manager (CSM) role sits within Pernod Ricard North America's in-house creative AOR, The Mix, partnering closely with brands to deliver content across the consumer journey. Work ranges from local asset variation and adaptation ensuring fit for use across platforms as well as asset creation with end-to-end production for specific brand & channel needs. The Mix NOAM is part of a global network of 10+ in-sourced Agencies within the Pernod Ricard Groupe, a new and exciting approach that is still taking shape. The Agency is focused on creating effective content that drives impact through efficient solutions.
Nature & Scope
The Mix NOAM reports directly to the PRUSA CMO, and is a key component of the organization's content ambitions. In this role, the Creative Services Manager will work across the organization to manage the creative process, establishing trusted internal partnerships & building deep brand knowledge, translating brand vision into design and execution. Stakeholders include Brand Marketing, Commercial, Field Marketing and cross-functional teams.
The CSM will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, serving as the connector between the organization and the broader Agency team. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital, social, e-commerce, channel/shopper marketing and be familiar with broader conceptual creative development. They will serve as a trusted resource and help to implement best practices across Brand Teams, Agency Partners, Retail Customers, etc. The CSM be required to work across multiple brands & projects, collaborating to find effective solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and overseeing creative processes and workflows.
This candidate will be joining an established team that continues to grow and evolve to meet the demands of the organization. Candidates should be focused on driving impact and the power of strategic influence in enlisting stakeholders to utilize new tech, tools & workflows to bring work to life. The CSM will directly impact how we maximize speed to market, right-size costs, and ultimately accelerate conversion and growth across our portfolio.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
The Mix Creative Services Liaison: Lead point-of-contact for Marketing teams (Brand, Commercial, Field, etc.) as it relates to the development of creative assets, including asset adaptation, asset variation and asset creation.
Serve as the intermediary between The Mix and internal / external teams for all creative needs that are within scope. Build trusted relationships and deep portfolio & brand knowledge to enhance brief inputs, provide channel/placement expertise & creative point of view. Asset Adaptation: Powered by an in-house team and embedded resources, adaptation of existing assets to be fit for use based on direction from Brand, Commercial and Field Marketing teams. Asset Variation: Oversee in-house team on the reworking of simple assets into different formats including personalization @ scale. Asset Creation: Lead end-to-end production for individual brand or channel needs to close local gaps in the path to purchase.
The Mix Operations and Management: Partner with The Head of Content Strategy & Activation to drive the implementation, optimization and management of creative services for The Mix.
Responsible for day-to-day management of The Mix scope & evolving capabilities needs, managing internal stakeholders and external partners as it relates to timelines, budgets, etc. Reinforce governance and WoW across the broader organization; ensure consistency across the creative process for all Marketing teams. Work-cross functionally with all relevant brand / partner stakeholders to ensure Agency role clearly defined & future-facing opportunities identified for refinement. Optimize workflows, processes, standards and timelines for creative assets as team continues to scale. Partner with Content Manager (DAM) to support growth of platform as "single source of truth" to organize creative assets to meet internal and external customer needs.
Project / Account Management: Key point of contact for all Creative Services assigned to The Mix.
Direct projects from concept to execution in partnership with Agency Account Director & Project Managers; involvement level based on project tiering. Identify and align on resourcing for creative projects and assess bandwidth & capabilities when requests are submitted. Champion and optimize workflow tool - ensure data is captured that is required to analyze business and meet PRUSA brand and procurement reporting requirements. Problem solves, offer solutions & ensures creative materials are delivered timely and efficiently. Partner closely with marketing program manager to identify risks, potential issues, approval dates and key milestones.
Integration of Technology: Maintain oversight of technologies and necessary integrations across the ecosystem at PR USA and in partnership with Agency team.
Upskill PRUSA stakeholders to ensure adoption of workflow tool & other required tech. Help to implement future-facing use of tech and tools to deliver work efficiently. Collaborate with Content Manger to ensure clear process for saving and sharing of creative assets across different systems.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
6-8+ years of experience working in a creative services department at an advertising agency or in-house creative services team.
Experience working with Marketing or Media teams, with cross-functional experience at an agency, brand side, or ideally both.
Experience overseeing multiple programs at once (from strategy to execution), is exceptionally well-organized, process-driven, and has a clear understanding of how to generate buy-in of new ideas and ways of working.
Experience working with a creative or production agency specializing in social, website / e-commerce and digital content.
Highly effective in managing onsite and extended teams as needed, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical staff to ensure timely delivery of the project.
Hands-on experience with creative marketing development and execution across a variety of tactics (i.e. retail, media, social, etc.).
