Position Summary
Manage Proximo Spirits brand portfolio in both On premise and Off premise accounts.  Champion the On/Off premise promotional activities by building relationships with new and existing accounts. Work with management to effectively grow the business for this direct sales division. Work with management to effectively grow the business for this direct sales division. There is 25% travel and location of residence must be in East Side Metro Area.
 
Position Responsibilities  
  1. Maximize the sale of Proximo Spirits Brands to the trade and consumer through effective territory planning, selling and merchandising for the achievement of company goals. 
  2. Responsible for distribution, back bar presence, menu placements, drink features in the On Premise. 
  3. Responsible for increasing Proximo’s footprint within State Liquor stores by increasing distribution, securing optimal shelf placement and facings, building and maintaining displays that are merchandised to company standards with our current point of sale. 
  4. Plan, establish and maintain an efficient and productive daily call pattern in assigned territory through the use of formal pre plan guidelines. 
  5. Determine the priority and sales opportunities by analyzing the entire assigned territory. 
  6. Identify key accounts for” New Brand “launches and provide feedback to local Management and Brand Manager on a scheduled basis. 
  7. Implement and maintain up to date accurate records of sales and competitive activity. 
  8. Develop and maintain positive customer relations. 
  9. Prepare professional sales presentations for each call tailored to Proximo goals.
  10. Know, in depth the features and benefits of Proximo Brands. 
  11. Manage all Proximo Spirits Brand promotions within assigned territory. 
  12. Set promotional dates and times with accounts and work with local promotional agency. 
  13. Attend and monitor Brand promotions and make any necessary adjustments. 
  14. Manage POS to ensure use during key promotions and provide feedback on its effectiveness. 
  15. Provide feedback to local management on competitive activities including pricing and promotional support. 
  16. Perform other similar job related duties.

 Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 4 plus years relevant experience in the consumer goods industry, spirits experience and/or 3 tier distribution experience preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with accounts. 
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, time management and presentation skills required 
  • Position requires intermittent standing, sitting, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, lifting and carrying up to fifty pounds. 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines. 
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Windows based programs. 
  • Must have a valid state driver license and acceptable driving record.
