Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is seeking an experienced General Manager of Hospitality with experience managing a luxury brand property to create remarkable, memorable, and sharable experiences at our flagship property - Woodinville's Chateau Ste. Michelle
This role will be responsible for developing and monitoring all consumer facing experiences at our iconic location for the wine shop, wine club, events, and concerts.
We are looking for a candidate who will be the #1 brand ambassador, skilled in building effective teams, developing strategies for exceeding sales goals, creating brand evangelists, and building brand loyalty.

$132,201.00 - 198,301.00 per year based upon relevant experience.

General Manager of Hospitality job requirements include:
- In conjunction with the Brand, Digital, Culinary, and Wine Education teams the GM will deploy brand marketing programs and elevated consumer experiences to attract new visitors, increase average order value related to the Woodinville location, and increase revisits.
- In collaboration with Senior Leadership, oversees P&L management, budget creation, OKR/KPI creation, measurement, management, and controls for the Woodinville property.
- Develop financial strategies that meet and exceed budgeted revenue and profit goals while balancing costs and guest experience across all Direct to Consumer (DTC) channels.
- Partner with tasting room leadership to control inventory of wine and non-wine including allocation, flow, and replenishment as well as responsibility for variances.
- Analyze business trends and create business-building programs that both fit within the corporate goals and enhance revenue opportunities.
- Position will work closely with Digital Marketing on strategies to increase traffic, destination marketing, and reach evolving consumer demographics for the Tasting Rooms as well as driving wine club conversion and DTC ecommerce sales.
- Inspects properties on a regular basis with a strong attention to detail in partnership with the operations and leadership team to ensure safety, ADA accessibility, comfort, and cleanliness and brand standards.
- Occasionally host media and function as a representative for Public Relations department as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Hospitality Management, or similar field required (Master's Preferred)
- 10+ years retail and/or hospitality experience in complex high traffic environments with experience evolving properties and updating consumer experiences (experience with Luxury Brands Preferred; previous DTC Winery experience is a plus)
- Ability to lead the full operation, day-to-day management, and communicate effectively.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with prior budgeting and P&L experience with a proven track record of building revenue and profits.
- Strong technical computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, POS systems, Microsoft D365 Commerce, etc. and ability to demonstrate these skills.
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
