Role Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all package quality standards are achieved throughout the bottling operation.
  • Ensure all incoming raw material quality standards are achieved
  • Ability to work with outside groups/departments with new product develop launches
  • Member of a team leading the largest manufacturing plant within the Beam Suntory network
  • Highly motivated individual who can operate independently
  • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all incoming material procedures/processes
  • Responsible for following all ISO 9001/22000 standards for the site to ensure that certification is maintained

Additional Roles and Responsibilities
  • Promote quality, environmental, health and safety achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
  • Participate in global work teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure tests and procedures are understood and properly carried out
  • Ensures quality procedures, work instructions and associated documentation are properly developed, reviewed, implemented and updated
  • Reviews all packaging quality equipment needs and responsible for overseeing all maintenance/calibration are carried out to ensure we are meeting our compliance to standards
  • Responsible for ensuring timely completion/investigation of all supplier quality issues
  • Working with the suppliers to build continuous improvement initiatives to support the production needs

Quality Team Member Responsibilities
  • Run the DMA and perform basic troubleshooting of the equipment
  • Support Mock recall process
  • Run the GC and GC/MS for sample analysis
  • Must be able to support the sample retention facility to include organization, retains on shelf and removing expired retains by the direction of quality management
  • Perform testing analysis on any warehouse samples for processing the liquid
  • Must be willing and able to perform daily sensory evaluations or taste products
  • Must be able to perform testing analysis on jug dona and yeast
  • Test, approve, and report test samples. Run sample test on finished and bulk product and set up organoleptic evaluations. Report all discrepancies.
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with ISO requirements.
  • Partner with ISO owner to support internal/external needs for audits and maintain documentation in accordance with ISO requirements.
  • Conduct routine sample preparation, instrumentation analysis, data entry, routine reporting and distribution.

Additional Quality Team Member Responsibilities
  • Set up Taste Panel and other organoleptic analysis.
  • Must be able to work all production shifts including overtime
  • Support the quality team and lab as needed
  • Data entry and pulling reports from SAP
  • Perform quality audit in the bottling department
  • Identify and implement any cost reduction measures specific to your area
  • Leader in creating an inclusive culture to support our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Support and be an advocate of continuous improvement initiatives that improve the safety, quality and efficiency of our operations including ISO audits
  • Support and implement all Company Policies and adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, specifically the grievance procedure
  • Safety is everyone's responsibility; identify risks and report violations, near misses, or injuries immediately
  • Knowledge of GMP's, safety standards, quality standards and demonstrated ability to react and communicate effectively to issues

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years applicable production/quality experience within the last 10 years
  • Experience in the ISO 9001/22000 standard
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research and provide written reports & analysisbased on that research
  • Demonstrate the ability to use problem solving/root cause analysis tools
  • Good communication skills including presentations, negotiations, meeting facilitation and producing written documents
  • Excellent working knowledge of the TTB regulations
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail under limited supervision and within established time frames
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with company personnel at all levels of management with demonstrated leadership
  • Must be willing and able to taste alcoholic beverages
